Lost and Found scroll
After the aggravating experience of losing a set of photographs taken at the only Zen garden in Japan I’d visited, I began ruminating one particular scene that I kept seeing in my head. I decided to go about recreating that scene, which you see here. Later I found a pamphlet for the garden. The area of the garden that I regretted losing the photo to was on the cover. The photo looked bland in comparison to my montaged version and quite a bit different. This discovery called for a Buddha. Giclee with chiyogami and gold paper
